Sams Carpet Cleaning & Repairs recognizes different fibers, constructions, and types of rugs. We apply custom cleaning techniques and procedures that minimize concerned areas in specialty oriental rugs, while returning them to a clean and refresh condition.

An overview of our Oriental/Area Rug Process:

Oriental Rug Spot Cleaning

1. Rug is inspected with the customer for any concerns, size, and pricing.

2. Rugs are examined and tested for color fastness to determine the safe cleaning method.

3. Safe removal of any dry particles/soil in the rug.

4. Pre-treat the rug for any stains and/or smells. Special attention to concerned stain/smell areas and proper techniques will be applied.

5. Gently clean the rug.

6. Extract with a fresh water rinse to remove all soils and cleaning solutions leaving the rug clean, fresh, and odor free. See stain guarantee on carpet and rugs.

7. The fringes are groomed to restore the color and softness.

8. Drying technique is used in our plant to give the rug fibers a soft, dry, and clean feel.

9. Optional services can be applied:

10. After the rug is dry, another inspection is performed to make sure the preferred cleaning results were accomplished. If the rug cleaning doesn't meet our satisfaction, we will repeat any steps of our cleaning process that may be necessary.

11. Customer Service Representative will contact the customer once the rug is prepared for customer pick-up or delivery.
